TUMBLR BUDDIES STARTING WEB COMICS MAKES ME OUTRAGEOUSLY HAPPY
some people have been wanting a guide to drawing Arthur and Mesi so these are some general notes (although they ended up being more about movement and form rather than anything… helpful… oops)
I guess it’s kind of a breakdown of how their action matches their personality and design more than anything else but hey it was a good change of gear for me \o/
more prompt exchange doodling- this one was ‘I’m going out for a bit’
if you aren’t aware me and a drawing buddy of mine do this thing where we have a prompt word/phrase and we have twenty minutes to sketch something out for it
-and this is the second character of Pitch, although I suppose he’s almost the main character… well, they both are. Not quite sure how to colour him but it’ll be likely be quite different from the human characters.
Initially I wanted to make a character that was completely black, like Oswald and Mickey, and then ‘Pitch’ could have been his name too. This little guy just didn’t work out like that, however, and I’m not going to argue with him.
