next time I do a comic and I think ‘oh I know I’ll fill the sky of this feverdream landscape with holes because as someone with a strong aversion to fenestrations I am clearly qualified to do this’

one of the things I’m glad I came out with from making this film at school is that I really got to understand about film degradation and errors and how they happen/used to happen, so when I’m pulling shit like this I can scan things in or just punch photoshop around and make it by hand rather than having to use stock imagery

someone wanted a comparison of sketch to lineart so;
I don’t use anything fancy; just the solid round brush with shape dynamics on for the pressure sensitivity; the main thing I try and focus on is preserving the energy that was in the sketch as much as possible, there’s always some degree of loss but that’s just the nature of cleanup, alas \(.__.)/
working on a better version- might take me a while I’m really dog tired lately
hardly perfect but I think the main thing that bugs me about that old picture is he looks so goddamn young, RGB’s state of voice and body is in his thirties so yeah =__=

I have all these strips of old photograph negatives scattered on the floor so I can scan them in and brutally savage them in photoshop (I kind of want to dip some in acid to see what would happen…)
one of the reasons I adore characters like Tony and Notepad is the sheer range of wacky expressions I get to explore
