Anonymous asked: About your spiritAU with the Matsus, what is the limit to Kara and Totty's ability? I know they can't see spirits clearly like the rest of their brothers, but can they sense them?
I’m very happy with this, tho’ I did omit the brother’s reactions on page 12.
The zipaway-image and the shake of the walls I referenced from episode 9 (around 8 minutes in… where Jyuushi excuses himself from breakfast by bolting).
Knowledge: Photoshop CS6 / Jyuushimatsu: 2 frame loop / time spent: an evening? less than 5 hours? I’m really bad at keeping time.
btw… I did this without my pressure sensitivity since my tablet driver is being rude to me. so I’m pretty proud of this gif’s results despite the lack of pressure.
Anonymous asked: Hi there! I just love your Spiritmatsu AU and I find it really fascinating. Can I ask a question about it though? How do the brothers' parents deal with all those darn spirits? Like I imagine Matsumom and Matsudad having at least some knowledge with em. If it's not too bothersome at all, would you be willing to share your tidbits about it? Again love your work, keep it up! It's very inspirational for me.
The parents actually don’t know that their sons can still see the spiritual. They’ve always brushed off the times they’ve felt a chill or someone watching them, and so no longer really believe in the existence of spirits.
Okay I’ve been getting a lot of asks about possession in the spiritmatsu AU! So here is a huge informational post about how I imagine possessions go down in the spirit world.
Anonymous asked: Um hey, if it isn't a bother to ask, can some spirits come in physical contact with humans? Or are they untouchable and seem ghost-like?
Some spirits, if they are strong enough, can physically come into contact with humans. Others usually create the sense of something very heavy on your shoulders, or a dull pain on a part of your body it’s touching. Others cannot physically touch a human at all. There are different levels!
[Choromatsu then went home with a black spot on his cheek that didn’t go away for three days]
