Anonymous asked: Any tips on dealing with tendonitis? I have it now and it suuucks
there are many exercise guides for various types floating about online, but you know what? the best advice is to go see a specialist- a physio if you can, or at least a GP to give you a good idea/refer you to one because the thing is tendonitis comes in SO MANY DIFFERENT FLAVOURS OH BOY. one of the reasons the type I had this time was so Weird was it wasn’t carpel tunnel or wrist related! it was like. my whole lower forearm and in particular this one lil bugger that helps you turn your hand over- so I had to do different exercises to the kind that I was using the time I got bad tendonitis three years ago!
I can say the basics- rest, stretch within a comfortable range, stop whenever something starts to hurt, but the best thing you can do is Go Get Help from a person who knows wtf is up :Tb good luck and yes. it sucks. so bad.
just some WIP screenshots of this next doodle comic to give you hope- I’m trying to tear through it as fast as I can which is involving cheating the hell out of any perspective and using ALL the scribbles. all of them. Anyway it’s like 40 pages long so it’s going to take a while (and although I’ve got a few pages nearly done like the top set most of it is still like the last two pictures) SO UH
also those of you who follow me on twitter/read my tags might know that this one is??? a bit? odd. it’s. uh. it’s hard. you’ll understand when it gets here I am just, I’m a bit scared of making this one but I kinda sort of feel like I have to, so.
Anonymous asked: oh man that program is great- can we have some more shots of Gladstone's house? (also I know it's a placeholder but that's the most practical and humble lil' car I've ever seen Gladstone have lol)
sure! (under the cut)

Feels kind of strange doing art for previous stories, but as I’m going to be posting these on my website in their own ‘doodle comics’ section I’ve found I need to add title pages to some of them/incorporate the title in the first page somehow so it’s clear where one ends and another begins. It’s horribly tempting to go in and fix all the big obvious mistakes too, but I have to convince myself to ignore them and get on with making the new stuff!
Anyway here’s a quickly done cover for The Sorceress’s Apprentice which I’m sure some of you recall… I had a good time making this one, and it was the first where I really started to think about not worrying about making my art look like the original comics and just embracing my scratchy scribbly makeshift ways.
Anonymous asked: ey Mod did you see Frank Angones is answering asks again on tumblr? would you mind if we told him about your doodle comics I bet he'd like them!
I did! and shucks if you really want to, sure! but he’s a busy dude and I’m guessing he doesn’t have much time for reading so don’t harass him too much over it (and whatever you say be nice! being nice is cool)
uhhhh kinda built on those last couple of posts/tags and
I am way too lazy to finish this
how do you wax
