Of course! I would love to do more now but I really would have to be doing the comic/my own work for a living, I just can’t do more than one page a week with having a full time storyboarding job on top of it; you guys see about 15% of what I draw, if that!
I work from nine to six, the vast majority of which is drawing either in pencil or on the cintiq and let me tell you that is a lot of hand work, and I have to be very careful not to burn myself out or injure my wrist/hand/brain from drawing more than is healthy. The migraine I got yesterday was actually probably a result of trying to do too much in a day! I don’t manage to take my own advice sometimes and the results are pretty crappy for everyone.
It sucks, I know, but for now this is literally my maximum output for all the projects I have running. Doing the work any faster would jeopardize my job and my health, so thank you for your patience I really appreciate it, but it doesn’t look like I’ll be able to do more than one a week any time soon.

protip if you aren’t personal friends with an artist and make fun of their artwork chances are they won’t think wow what a funny person haha they will probably suddenly be embarrassed and ashamed of something they worked really hard on

What started as a very simple height chart for my own interest (and possible future reference?) it became this— whatever this is.
Something I realized while drawing this: When Percival is trying to keep himself poised, he can be very difficult to… read.
Bad pun aside, he is normally very animated— wild poses and hand gestures— without those there’s nothing to discern what the man is thinking. That may be why RGB and Hero are looking at him so oddly. Or perhaps it could be because he has a book for a head, but since one of them is a man with TV for a head, it really shouldn’t be all that odd.
RGB and Hero belong to Modmad. I love those two.
Ahh, Percival is so elegant, I really like his characterization! (nothing wrong with puns, they make the world go round :^) )

a bunch of people suggested I draw myself as a ragdoll but my hair is too feathery and floofy for string or felt

Haha okay wow okay so I literally just explained today that I do not enjoy drawing the sky in this part of the comic to an absurd degree because it is actually something that makes me feel physically nauseous and someone just sent me an ask to ’make the sky less creepy’.
Look, sweety, or any other sweety who feels that way, this comic is scary and gross in places, and if you don’t like it; that’s fine, that’s a normal reaction! This is not a normal story. I am tagging these page updates with trypophobia/tw: trypophobia, and if there’s another warning any of you feel is appropriate for any of my updates at any time please do not hesitate to tell me because I do not want to trigger anyone. I am not setting out to traumatize anyone, but it is a very weird story with a weird world that is routed in dream logic, and phobias are certainly a part of the research that has gone into it. It covers some distressing situations, so it is bound to distress some people, even if I am going at it from an angle that is relatively accessible. I am not aiming to please, I am telling a story.
Whether you read it or not is your choice.
If you don’t want to read the comic, that’s fine! I don’t want to upset anyone, and I’m certainly not forcing anyone to read it, but please don’t ask me to change it. It is a) insulting b) impossible because I am absolutely not the person dictating what happens or what this thing looks like. The story is a hostage situation. It has sat on me like a very large manatee and told me that it will get off when I have finished making it, and I intend to finish it even if that takes the better part of my life. I have to draw it, and I have to draw it the way that it is meant to be, so please please don’t ask me to do it another way because it is really not a thing that can or will happen.
Sorry if that was a little snippy/long-winded; I have a cold it’s annoying my brain but, yes, please don’t do that. To anyone.
