Skhizein by Jeremy Clapin and Dark Prince, 2008
A long, moody, French animation, but a totally engrossing Kaufman-esque conceit… should have a special resonance with makers of 3D animation and others of us who have a fragile grip on reality.

Involuntary emotional reactions over your own work are usually a good sign.
Just burst into tears over the revision of the storyboard for this short film.

The Maker: incredible stop motion short film about the individual making life what it is.

Nemo (1984 Pilot) - Directed by Studio Ghibli’s Yoshifumi Kondô

Holy shit.
I will never get over how good the animation in this is. I mean, wow. The Nemo film is just as visually stunning, but the hacked voice over and severe story and pacing problems still irk me. They had a lot of problems when making it so I understand why it happened, but it still knocks it down the awesome-ometer a few pegs.
This, on the other hand, is just perfection. Cohesive, fluid, succinct. Do yourself a favour and press play.
