I’ve had a few ideas about what his body would look like actually!
He’s definitely more, droid-ish in design. The entire frame runs on a self contained coolant system among a few others to keep everything running, but if his processors are overclocking to keep up with him he’ll briefly jet out bouts of “steam”, moreso if he’s actually exerting the body physically (not actually steam, but it’s non-toxic either way)

Inspired by Britty’s Post and a bit by some of the other Mermaid and Robot posts I’ve been seeing going around. She can only speak in clicks and tones, he tries to imitate with chip-tunes but they settle on using Sign-Language. She can go out of the water for a day or two, but has to soak every night, They live in a quiet fishing town in New England and love to play video games together and go see art galleries and people watch because they both have trouble understanding the outside world.
