practice heads and an old how-do-ducks thing from patreon (drawn over the far superior model sheet of Carl Barks to demonstrate my blob body/limbs technique): these days I almost always do the blobs left handed and the line right handed, but it gets switched up occasionally. I do this random-floating-heads thing once in a while especially if I feel I’ve gotten foggy on forms
in other news left handed practice today got out of hand and gold is freakin hard (and yes I bullshitted some parts because I can’t find reference of what the top of that mirror actually looks like for the life of me gosh darnit)
more lefty practice- two TPoH characters who will appear in the not too vastly distant future (when I start drawing the comic again at least)
they’re really more like BG characters but I always get too invested in everyone and give them names and little backstories that nobody will ever know sob
more left-handed studies/sketches
man I am tired
trying to kick my left hand into drawing more complicated/controlled stuff = Bruce Timm hands n’ feet study time
trying to draw a thing that you need to improve at drawing with your non-dominant hand actually mades you really focus on understanding what you’re drawing and not getting hung up on mistakes :T
left handed drawing continues to be equal parts fun and frustration best viewed from the other side of the planet
another left handed speed paint, the only problem is I never remember to time myself! ah well
if someone had told me when I started playing this game that, one year on, I would still be playing it and that I would still have Roscoe in my village I would have slapped myself then given myself a high five
