- How I feel about this character
I love Chell. I don’t think you actually understand how much I love her. True, I have a thing for mute characters, but I just adore how understated and insanely brave and utterly tenacious she is. Also there’s the fact that she was designed to look humanly hot; not some contorted amalgamation of hips, spinal chord and boobs. I could actually write a whole essay on the value of this character though so I’d better cut it off here.

Wheatley. Wheatley, and sometimes Wheatley (oh also Wheatley is cute).
- My non-romantic OTP for this character
SPAAAACE COOOOORE. I just imagine him as this ridiculous, hyper-active little brother to her. I also adore her relationship with GLaDOS; it’s so complex and filled with hate and mutual fear and respect. Also, wit. Got to love that.
- My unpopular opinion about this character
Uh… no, not sure I have any of those. Really.
- One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
Nope. Again, good job Valve. They knew how much to give us and how much to leave out; I’m perfectly happy with what we got.
Remember that demo version of the Portal Orchestra Medley from a a super long time ago? Looks like KazeMixer finally finished it! Oh my gosh it’s so good. Even has Exile Vilify
which i just about cried at it’s so pretty. Really hope this person does more orchestrated versions of video game music (or anything really).

”Wheatley’s first impression of the great outdoors was not particularly positive. He recoiled, clamped both his hands over his eyes, and screamed.
“AAAHHH! Aaahh ahgodwhat’sthat it burns!” …

For Wheatley, who’d been put together underground, who’d spent his entire existence either in the darkness of the maintenance tracks or under artificial light in the facility’s harshly-lit grey-walled chambers, the flood of natural light was staggering, blinding. During his time in space he’d guessed that the sunlight would be less intense down here beneath the blanket of the sky, but he’d been wrong. It was warmer, but no easier to bear. The filtered sunlight of his own avatar, tamed and modified as it was, didn’t even come close.”
Of course my picture is just all dramatization, the actual scenario from the fic would probably go like this:

“What did you DO?!”
Jervis’s first impression of Wheatley had been scathing. Aesthetically he was the equivalent of genetically blending a luxo lamp with a neurotic giraffe and then giving the whole thing too many joints. Mentally he was approximately the same.
“I just… well, there were a lot of holes in it, you see, so I just thought I’d… you know, put some stuff in.”
“Stuff?!” The scientist’s eyes strained to take in the unfathomable strings of data scrolling past the orange-tinted backdrop. What Wheatley had put in wasn’t stuff, it was pure, blind idiocy. It was impossible nonsense. Jabberwocky. It was, to the digital world, an unadulterated, tangible lump of fatuity… and it was working.
“Well-” Wheatley continued, as the Hatter’s increasingly unhinged mind attempted to decide which of the two men in the room was the madman; “I know you said you’d help get me back, after I, er, fell through, so to speak, but you were so busy with all that villainy business and, and reciting poetry to birds- very nice, by the way, very good memory you’ve got; not knocking that, just so you know-”
“Wheatley.”
“… yes?” The hopeful intonation was slightly marred by the A-flat accent of doubt.
“Do you know what you just did?”
Wheatley’s hand went into the air, as he inhaled with the attitude of someone about to say an awful lot of things that had no relevance to the situation, but it stopped at the level of his glasses, the fingers recoiling back into a hesitant rosebud. He shook his head, blinking mutely at the pair of eyes which he still wasn’t entirely comfortable with looking at directly.
“Wheatley… You just broke reality.”
Um, I kind of had this idea since I first played Ocarina of Time 3DS and saw this line, so I felt the need to get it out of my head.
…It seemed a lot better when I first thought about it… which is why I shouldn’t so crossovers. I hope this makes some kind of sense. D:
