do monsters make sure we look under the bed? or over our shoulder, not just straight ahead?
do monsters make sounds in the dark of the night, to check we’re not frightened to turn off the lights?
do monsters wait for us to come home from school, and forget that they’re real, like they wanted us to?
do they tell us ‘take care’, and 'be safe’, when we do?
it sounds weird but I’m almost worried about losing the lack of control I have when I draw with my left hand; there’s something much more innocent and gratifying about the work when even starting a brushstroke in the right place is a Herculean struggle
been recalling the month I spent in Costa Rica with all this humid weather a lot too =u=
I discovered far too late that I’ve been scanning the images for TPatJ at way too low a resolution so I just had to go back and rescan a bazillion things super slowly, I’ll also probably have to scale up the pages I’ve already done and reapply the sketches so the bgs will need a makeover too and my hand is still hecked up and BLAAARARGHH WHY
so anyway
have a thing I drew when I could still hold a pencil
going to try and do one left handed speed paint a day until I can actually use this damned thing to draw properly
I had a dream last night that I was Death’s one and only Pale Horse so naturally I went for a run on the beaches of Tartarus
it was awesome and had a super weird colour scheme
very gradually reclaiming the ability to use my right hand so have some creakily drawn fanart of my favourite ‘extra’ from PL vs PW; Lettie Mailer
I don’t know if she’ll get a different voice for the American release but regardless I adored this character I mean come on just look at her
the only downside was how little limelight she got would definitely have to appear in the theoretical sequel no question :|b
I’m bored so I’m trying to colour stuff left handed this is obviously doomed to failure also someone asked how large I draw and the answer is always MUCH LARGER THAN IS NECESSARY, but anyway yes this is tiny blob of the 100% version of this
if you high res it you can hear the soft echo of tears I will shed in the future when I save it for posting online at a near infinitely smaller size
everyone loves the trope of heroes being stuck in a room that’s steadily filling with water, right? aka more of this idiocy
(well okay obviously Luke and Maya would be able to solve the puzzle from the outside that’s how these things work)
