so there’s going to be a new Barbie film coming out in Spring 2015 that I worked on and let me tell you I had so much fun storyboarding on this. I am genuinely excited to the point of bursting to see how it came out, apparently it’s going to be the first one where it’s all computer animated too! So long, mo-cap!
This was something I drew to say thanks to the director for being such a spectacularly great guy but the teaser trailer is out now so you chaps can have it too \o/
“-and then you called me ‘Toots’ and I was just like, naaaaah…”
“Toots?!”
“I know, amazing right?”
“More like amazing that you didn’t punch me unconscious.”
“Shoot, yeah! That could’ve saved a bunch of hassle… Okay, 'you ever do it again and I’ll straight-up exorcise you with a fist to the face. Deal?”
“Deal.”
Honestly I am so amused (and pleased!) that so many of you thought I would be a cartoon/shapeshifter monster you guys are so great and know me so well.
So yeah, crazy colour bird who can move via cartoons from tv to tv, but also can hide on walls as graffiti/faze into and out of posters and pictures. Sneaks up on and hugs people who look too grey or tired, causing the terrible consequence of them being SUPER HYPER AND ENERGETIC FOR A LONG TIME AFTERWARDS. OH NO. Can also transform into objects as every good old fashioned cartoon ought to be able to, and let’s face it nobody ever suspects the rubber duck.
this started out with me wanting to explore the ‘floating off the floor’ possession trope and well look where we are now
