was talking to a friend who I may have got into the Gladstone/Magica ship about if post Sorceress’s Apprentice they had to walk past each other in the office and Miss Quackfaster totally sees what is up

(aw shucks) and hm you could be right there- but I sketched these left handed and threw the lines over in a pretty quick time. It’s kind of hard to describe but I see the forelock are a tube but also like two marshmallow shapes smushed together. The curls are likewise basically three cylinders wrapped around the back of the head but with enough jaggedyness to look organic? that said I just did these for fun I doubt Disney is gonna be like ‘hey can we use these’
realized I kinda made Gladstone’s legs longer than in Donald’s design but then I was like
what if he’s significantly taller than Donald
well okay or I could do this instead of starting actual work this morning- just an alternate take on the new Gladstone design! done kinda quick but I had fun (colours of last two are based off the old comics and the modern comics)
tried to smush the concepts from the other designs?

warm up sketch- kinda wanted to imply an artist sitting in the Blackjack Ballroom catching this gal being momentarily out of her showtime character and sketching it
so I have four doodle comics in the rough stage of WIP so maybe I need help
also anons keep asking for the process and, guys, really it’s like a hot mess right up to the finish line but my rough sketches generally come in three styles namely 1) there was an attempt, 2) i tried and 3) didn’t need to spend this long on the sketch considering I’ll prolly redraw it entirely when getting to final
