Wow, you guys sure did like those WALL-E sketches.
Well I guess I’ll just have to draw more of him then.
(Head canon- if WALL-E got turned into a humanoid-robot-andriod-thing he would still hide by dumping objects on his head and turning into a box).
Me and Sarah watched WALL-E yesterday and we both had a RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF ROBOT FEELS and yes so then this.

I don’t know why I always ends up designing such potentially ominous looking characters. I feel particularly bad for the Spine I draw because he has all the visual hallmarks of a Disney villain :/

Also maybe a very rushed response to this which is way cooler and I have totally forgotten how to make gifs anyway ahahaha I suck.
You know how you doodle in the margins of your notebook at school? I doodle on a different layer in Sketchbook Pro at work.
I remember seeing a video with Sam and otters at some point and I think they’re both adorable so yeah :T
As for Rabbit I just love seeing people put on makeup they make the best faces.
Finished my work for the morning so here’s some doodles of Pitch. I’ve written up a short animation which revolves around him and his creator which I hope I can make some day.
I really wanted to create a character that was as basic as possible that could still be appealing- so yes, he’s effectively a silhouette with eyes.
I felt like I was getting into some bad habits with drawing hands so I did a few studies in my morning break.
I’m having way too much fun with this idea.
I don’t think the Spine’s body would have any evil intent, it just wouldn’t want to go back to being controlled. It’d be plenty creepy enough, especially at first with the whole not speaking and, you know, not having a head thing, but basically it’s motivation as an antagonist would be NO I DON’T WANNA.
FUQ DA POLICE.
So I saw a photo that showed the Spine’s shirt collar has a red lining and gosh darn if I don’t find that sort of tailoring attractive.
I’m also given to wondering what his body’s cognitive state is when the core is absent- I suppose it might just be an inanimate lump of robotics, but I would imagine it would make more sense for it to have some backup ability to control itself. Considering they were (infrequently) used as war machines it would be a disastrous oversight if the Spine and his body could become separated and the one couldn’t at least attempt to seek out the other.
Just a few doodles and thoughts.
Being the younger and far more silly sibling in my family, I know how hard it can be to see your elder taking things too seriously, especially when the world just doesn’t seem to appreciate them for what they are. I reckon that Rabbit thinks of it as a duty of his to get the Spine to buck up when yet another relationship hasn’t worked out. He knows that the Spine can be just as ridiculous as him and the rest of the band, it just takes a bit of work to remind him about it sometimes.
Also I hadn’t drawn spine-the-spine yet and that just can’t stand.
