There’s an old Carl Barks comic with Gladstone in it which opens with: “if this was a fairytale, it would probably start like this; Once upon a time there was a Great King of Luck…” or something along those lines. It’s such an unusual intro and I always thought that was a cute idea- Gladstone being a lonely king or prince of luck, but what if one day a ‘wicked’ witch came to the kingdom to shake things up… and then he wasn’t quite so lucky, or so lonely, ever after?
I been working really hard lately SO time for magicstone doodle reward! I seem to remember reading that witches have to brush their hair 100 times every morning or something? dunno if the same applies to sorceresses but it would be a cute thing to help out with =v=
just some WIP screenshots of this next doodle comic to give you hope- I’m trying to tear through it as fast as I can which is involving cheating the hell out of any perspective and using ALL the scribbles. all of them. Anyway it’s like 40 pages long so it’s going to take a while (and although I’ve got a few pages nearly done like the top set most of it is still like the last two pictures) SO UH

anon commissioner wanted some good old shameless cheesey vampire duck stuff based off Quacklight. Yes. That is the official duck comic parody of Twilight. Yes, these two are both vampires, and yes, the whole thing is self-insert fanfic written by Daisy and Brigitta. It’s perfect.
the next duck comic is heavy so i used some old sketches to doodle an incomplete fluffy thing (Gladstone had to go work in Magica’s garden bc he messed up one of her potions or some such and then they both fell asleep on the couch or something don’t ask me man)

this comic refers to A Gal for Gladstone which is the story that sent me and a lot of other duck comic readers hurtling into the magicstone pit in the first place
