For those worrying about whether I was resting my hands- don’t worry I was doing like 4 lots of ten minutes work on this a day for a looong number of weeks, and it’s been encouraging to do this as a way of seeing how my recovery is going. These sketches are inspired by the comic A Gal for Gladstone, and to highlight the incredible artist called modmad here on tumblr. Modmad is an amazing artist who brings these two characters to life in her own comics. I just felt so inspired that I wanted to draw them to. So here they are.

y’know this au is full of sad stuff but i did get to draw this as part of smth bigger so i spent longer on it than i should have because happy ducks are best ducks
