Hero is very brave! I mean look at the scary mofos she hangs around with and it doesnt phase her at all. Madras doesnt usually have ears but for this universe she probably grew them (pretty badly too) just so she could wear earrings? hahahah

Working on the next TPoH page and I remember someone asking me if I work totally digitally or sketch on paper- it’s very half and half with me. I always sketch on paper to begin with, but I look over the sketch and try to see what’s wrong with it and make annotations on how to fix it digitally when I’ve scanned it in.
Like here it was mostly okay but Madras’s arm was a bit too short, so I made a note to cut and extend it rather than redraw the whole thing (I liked the hand so I didn’t want to risk losing it).
I also needed to shift her forwards a bit to make the position work with Hero’s line of sight. All little things but I find this method saves a lot of time and makes a big difference.

i’m quite literal when using the term “sore eyes” when i was making this.
but honestly, i desperately needed to step out of my box (wink), and this awesome webcomic became my victim. my art has been jumping all over the place in a sad attempt to find a serious muse, sorry for that. also many apologies to Mod, i don’t know how you put up with me, though i’m thoroughly proud of how this came out.
