Help out a beautiful artist! (Not me, don’t panic)
Now, I’m not one to promote, and there are other worthy causes, but trust me when I say @modmad deserves it.
If y'all didn’t know, she writes this sweet comic called The Property Of Hate, as seen above. Feel free to google it, there’s even a whole website for it!

Why am I bringing all of this up?
Because mod is currently working on a kickstarter to publish a second volume of her webcomic, The Property of Hate!
As you can see, as of today, October 30th, there are only 9 days to go and we’re barely halfway there
Why should you care about Tpoh? Well, in addition to being a charming, heartwrenching, pun-filled and exciting adventure, it also features an extremely diverse cast of characters. The main characters are a young british-indian girl and her telly-headed guide (who is canonically pansexual, with both a girlfriend and an ex boyfriend appearing in canon). There are a wonderful pair of wives, a nonbinary main character as well as a genderfluid one, and all kinds of amazing twists and turns. Not to mention the art is amazing
Basically, if you’re not reading it already, you definitely should. And you should also help Mod make this amazing step forward into getting her story out to a broader audience.

well first thing is- don’t be distressed! or surprised, even- I said it before but this basically a terrible time to have run the campaign because the world is like, falling? apart? and folks don’t got much cash to spare rn and there are much more worthy causes to be giving to which I am 100% behind. I am delighted to have even got as far as we have with this kickstarter (over hecking 12,000 smackers! whoa!), and whatever happens I am very grateful to everyone who reads TPoH and everyone who’s supported this project- and I know there’s a lot of you who can’t do both, so don’t be upset if you can’t fund the kickstarter! I understand! there will be future opportunities, and maybe I was just too hasty with this attempt. I’ll keep looking for a publisher, I don’t think I can personally reprint and dispatch books again like I did with Volume 1 with how my hands are, but who knows maybe I can get someone to help me. Fingers crossed, but if it doesn’t work out don’t despair, we’ll try and try again!
Just to let you know the Kickstarter is still going strong! We’re almost 1/5th of the way there which is amazing after only two days, thank you so much!
I’ve also added a brand new reward tier after several requests for a signed option- Having the books posted to me to sign and then ship out would cost too much, so I’ll be making a brand new never-before-seen TPoH print picture which I can sign and add to the bundle!
SO HEY WHO WANTS TO HELP ME PRINT BOOKS if you would that would be really cool uh maybe have a look at this here thing! It’s the kickstarter for Volume 2 of The Property of Hate! Y’all wanted it, and Make That Thing are helping me to make… well, that thing.
We got badges and stickers and all kindsa stuff but most of all we gon’ get more delicious readable books! Oh, and if we get enough and then enough again? We get another print of the FIRST volume of TPoH with a new front cover to match this second one! Oh me oh my.
Also if you don’t know what the heck The Property of Hate is maybe go over here and read the whole thing for free? And then tell your grandma about it! Maybe your friends too, and your dog. I love dogs.
