Spotted hyenas laugh in anticipation of a meal!
When a hyena giggles, it actually means that it’s quite nervous about something. Spotted hyenas will often laugh in response to aggression from another hyena, or similar to the video above, when they are excited and anticipating a tasty meal.

Just can’t get over how huge Kevin’s hyenas are.
I suppose they just look so big because you don’t generally see them compared in size to people, but I think these ones must be larger than normal. Look at them!
Males reach around 120 pounds, females 140- that’s just a bit heavier than I am!
