trying to draw a thing that you need to improve at drawing with your non-dominant hand actually mades you really focus on understanding what you’re drawing and not getting hung up on mistakes :T

I like object heads, I like horses, I suppose this was always going to happen
Pestilence, War, Famine and Death; all the horses of the apocalypse finished! Had so much fun doing these, and learned a lot while I was at it! Win win.

Me: Yes… ?
Work colleague: I thought so.

Work colleague: Well you always look dead serious when you’re working on them.
Me: I do?
Work colleague: Yeah, but I guess horses are pretty hard to draw, so (laughs).
Me: (laughs) Yes, yes I suppose that must be it.
My boss: Say, you’re damned good at those horses aren’t you?
My supervisor: I keep telling her she doesn’t need to draw them that detailed for storyboarding but she keeps doing it.
My boss: No no, I like it, the animators like it too- how’d you like to do the other scenes with the pegasus for us?
Me: Sure! I’d love to!
