Anonymous asked: any headcanons for the ducks eye colors? i know donald had blue, but what about gladstone, or the triplets?
ooh fun- I think the Triplets all have very subtly different shades of blue: Dewey’s are the darkest, Huey’s are the lightest, and Louie’s are mid tone and maybe ever so slightly green.
Likewise I think there’s been comics where Gladstone is shown to have blue eyes, but because of his interestingly multifaceted self (and as someone who has literally had three people and an entire classroom argue over what colour my eyes are in front of my face) I think his eyes would look slightly more green or even completely green in certain lighting or situations. I mean, it’d be kinda cool if they turned green whenever he made a wish or got mad? Right?
I’m having way too much fun with this idea.
I don’t think the Spine’s body would have any evil intent, it just wouldn’t want to go back to being controlled. It’d be plenty creepy enough, especially at first with the whole not speaking and, you know, not having a head thing, but basically it’s motivation as an antagonist would be NO I DON’T WANNA.

Just a few doodles and thoughts.
Being the younger and far more silly sibling in my family, I know how hard it can be to see your elder taking things too seriously, especially when the world just doesn’t seem to appreciate them for what they are. I reckon that Rabbit thinks of it as a duty of his to get the Spine to buck up when yet another relationship hasn’t worked out. He knows that the Spine can be just as ridiculous as him and the rest of the band, it just takes a bit of work to remind him about it sometimes.
Also I hadn’t drawn spine-the-spine yet and that just can’t stand.
Hare and the Spine being emotional wrecks at the cinema is the best idea I’ve seen happen today.
Just a quick doodle between other things.
I reckon that, as with the Jon and Pinocchio, the Spine has a slightly morbid obsession with the Wizard of Oz and the concept of the tin woodsman. The Tin Man was cursed to chop himself into nothing and be replaced by tin limb by limb, eventually losing his heart and the ability to love with it. The Spine was originally created from metal and has never had a ‘real’ heart to lose, yet he is able to have feelings towards humans.
- How I feel about this character
ALL THE FEELS. He is adorable and creepy and stupidly intelligent but dumb as two rocks and I want to run a mile away while giving him a hug at the same time. It’s complicated.
- All the people I ship romantically with this character
I sort of ship a few with him but not very much, if that makes sense? Like I do ship Alice but in a rather tragic way- as in this will never ever work out well. I actually find the concept of him and Catwoman or even Ivy adorable because he just doesn’t understand women or sexuality at all but again this is head canon territory so hang me. Mostly I pair Jervis with crazy :I
- My non-romantic OTP for this character
Crane and Eddie are so brotp with Jervis it’s unreal. Also I love seeing Jervis and Harley as having a sort of brother/sister relationship, and I picture him and Penguin as having this two-person-gentlemen’s-club which is really just them being BFF’s but never admitting it.

- One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
Another episode or two would have been nice, and a redemption attempt story would have given a lot of explanation as to what his state of mind and heart really is, but again ambiguity is the friend of imagination so THEORIES ALL ROUND.
