Because I made a Fethry and Gladstone post before and I wanted to make one for the pair of cousins who doesn´t seem to get along (but love eachohter on their strange, family way)

2. that time Don had trouble in a race and Gladdie went to his rescue, but Don was still untrusting… (No illintention here)

Yeah, I know Gladstone is often portrayed as Donald´s rival, but they still spend time together, they still love each other and look after one another. He is like Don´s “least favorite brother” but as someone I know once said “I don´t like my brother all the time but it doesn´t mean I don´t love him”.

Anonymous asked: consider: Gladstone loves Donald because he's basically the Only Person who will go up against him in competitions. Everyone else learns to bail out and quit because you just can't win against Gladstone, but not Donald- he tries every damn time, and sometimes? He wins! Maybe not conventionally, but he gets the better of Gladstone, and for all he never says it? That rivalry makes Gladstone happier than anything, because this one unlucky duck goes against the grain and makes his life interesting.

I think that’s a great thought, and also consider: Gladstone sometimes takes interest in an activity and tries it out just to see what the hype is about, or because Donald is interested in that thing, like cooking or fishing. Which leads to a scene like this gem:
