Well, that makes me feel better about posting about them! Sometimes I worry that it’s just annoying TL:DR fodder for most people, but it does help to get it out of my system. Sometimes I get the impression that people think I’ve got my shit together and know who I am and what I’m doing at all times, and that’s simply not true. Everyone has doubts and fears and troubles, and we all deal with them in our own ways, or don’t. The only way you’ll find out that everyone around you is the same is by telling people about your own weird and messed up reality, and suddenly it doesn’t feel so strange and lonely anymore, because there’s a thousand people just like you and six thousand who have it worse.
So I love this entire soundtrack. And movie. And everything about this film in general but yes this track in particular fits with the comic in my head (especially for one scene, which, of course, we won’t get to for an age but there you go).
Woah, gosh, I don’t know where all these are coming from but I guess I just have to say thank you, thank you, thank you and it’s wonderful to know I’m contributing to people. In all honesty I’ve been feeling more like a leech than anything else lately- what with having blown this first job and ending up in limbo again it doesn’t much feel like I’m achieving my dreams, but I’m trying, and I’m going to keep trying, and that’s really all anyone can do. In fact, it’s actually you guys who are helping me to feel like I’m getting somewhere with chasing my mad ideas, by following me and commenting and asking me questions. If you weren’t out there giving me support, anonymously or not, I would have given up long ago.
So, yeah, thanks guys! It’s just amazing that you appreciate what I do :’D
