Because between drawing comic stuff and asks I doodle pokemans
Don’t judge me :T

Also I freaking love Lugia. That said, I was never quite sure how huge they were, but I always imagine that eventually it’s just like ‘yeah, why not, you win, sure’ to humor me, and really it’s more like I’m it’s pokemon than the other way around.
cylo:
i am honestly super fucking pissed right now
:C awww, I don’t know what happened but here have consolatory derpdom.

Just remember you are the coolest tumblrmon.
The coolest.
Well damnit that video post made me want to draw this guy, so marginal character spoilers I guess (who am I kidding this kid won’t appear for ages so you’ll forget him before then).
This is TOby. No, that’s not a typo, it is written TOby.
He hates you.

If you’re wondering why he’s such a charmer, well… he has reasons.

I just had to doodle up some Madras before calling it a night because omg look at this precious baby ;w;

Designed by the superb Princeofdorks who is doing me the greatest honor by letting me potentially nab this babe to put in my RGB webcomic. Which is now apparently happening despite what I have to say on the matter. Which is entirely in keeping with what RGB would do so hey.
I loooove herrrrrr.
Generic WIP blah
Had quite a few people asking me whether I draw clean from the off and whether I actually design the outfits I draw or just reference it all.
First off, I don’t think the finished line is even that clean! But no; I am a horribly messy, scribbly artist and everything looks like a pile of spaghetti while I’m working. Secondly, I loooove designing outfits, so of course I do the whole thing. I do use reference, always- it’s important in any piece of art and you learn how things work- but usually it’s only for structure ideas and getting information on how the materials react, the poses and patterns I do from scratch. The exceptions are specific outfits (like the Royal Guard uniform) but even then I usually cheat them to fit my style.
As an example here’s some scribbled notes for the DJ outfit for Mod’s dubstep post that prove how needlessly finicky I get with these things; you don’t even see Mod’s legs, but I planned out the shoes and trousers all the same, even how the belt and waistline sit. In animation you have to think about everything, even the stuff you don’t see, because you never know what the character is going to be doing and it all affects what’s on top of it anyway.

If you end up with a character turning in a way that shows their waistline, and you don’t know what it looks like, you have to go running about to ask someone to design it for you so it’s continuous for the next person who animates the same character. Same with socks, sleeves and cuffs, earrings… it’s endless. How a person dresses also says a lot about the character too, so it’s all there for a purpose.
Plus, it’s hella fun to do. :D
Mod what are you.
I got an ask about Mod getting frozen along with the Brotherhood of Evil, so I went ahead and checked the episode to see what legit happens, and lo and behold he does;

But look at that pose-

Mod you are so tsundere.

I appreciate the sentiment of sharing, Miss Quinn, but perhaps your generosity is a little misplaced in this case…

#go find someone whose inner turmoil is a laundromat
Sarah you’re killing me.
Also what the hell is this why are our absolute worst qualities so fun to draw.

RGB stop that.
