Part one of this thing that might be a thing but I’m not quite sure about if it will be a thing can be read over here because ahaha guess who had a writing blog she forgot about as well as that art blog she forgot about.

-“What an odd looking bird.” Thought Tarquin, and quite understandably too, for it was a very odd looking bird indeed. It was quite unlike anything the little pig had seen before, with sweet-wrapper wings all shaped like a boomerang, and a tail split into two long paddles.
It circled around the farmstead, banking as it began its descent, and as it lowered it only became more odd, for there was actually very little about it that was bird-like at all. It seemed to be a very ungainly shape, and yet, when it finally came in to land, it was not with a crash and a bump and a complicated tumble (as Tarquin had expected), but with a rather satisfying sort of ‘flump’.
“Hello.” Said the odd looking bird.
“Hello.” Replied the pig, watching the strange new creature folding up its wings with great interest. It appeared to be too absorbed in looking around to notice his staring, so he continued to do so. “Are you lost?”
“Oh yes, yes…” The answer came in an absent, gentle voice. The sort of voice one could listen to for a very long time without getting tired of it at all. “-but I really don’t mind it, you know.”

Willaby is not a wallaby, or a kangaroo, or a hare, but something rather in the middle of all three. Tina is most assuredly a hedgehog, although she’ll tell anyone who asks that she’s a porcupine, and Tarquin is perhaps the world’s prettiest pig, although he does rather wish people didn’t keep assuming he was a she as a consequence.
so it’s a certain pal o'mine’s birthday coming up and a certain pal o'mine loves scarecrows and so do I so I’m basically going to be doodling lots of scarecrows which are all for EGGS because what am I good for if I can’t doodle birthday scarecrows for a pal o'mine :D
Brig is a scarecrow ship who likes adventuring but excels at capsizing, Lunk is a big pile of a thing with more eyes than most and a great big heart to go with them, and Tatter is… well, Tatter sure is a scarecrow you’ve got to give her that.
oh hey so remember scary burny wax lady from back here well yeah I got bored and there’s this bit where she turns Arthur and Mesi into toys because that is totally what a vindictive spooky fire sorceress would do right
well it is if you know how the story with a one-legged tin soldier and the paper ballerina ends anyway
warm up doodles this morning were basically me trying to deal with Endeavour season 2 finale emotions (seriously what a good series also why haven’t you watched it go fix that right now) but most are spoilers so I won’t post them ahahahAHhomgwhysomanybadthingshappened
Oliver Lansley portrayed such a great take on my favourite trope of vaudevillian-ventriloquist-with-severe-issues though I just had to doodle him but drawing real actors with no reference from memory is a really bad idea kids don’t do it

also for those who didn’t know already RGB can skate like a pro and is generally a flexible devil as well as being fleet of heel (referenced from this video which is so good augh figure skating is the best for gestural)
okay but I am such a gigantic nerd about trickster figures in mythology
like would you even trust this dork not to throw a sick party at your house while you’re on holiday I mean
sometimes you just have to sit down and not plan what you’re going to draw and suddenly you’ll find a new character that you love to bits kicking about on the page in front of you
this is Garf and he’s well into the footy innee, got a voice like an angel too (well, maybe one with a cut throat at any rate)
everyone else was drawing their OC’s as centaur people and I want to be one of the cool kids too >:T
alternate explanation is Arthur and Mesi end up transitioning into a Fantasia setting and Mesi thinks it’s his fault \o/
