SO.
To round this cosplay deluge off; it wouldn’t be a proper Con without at least one adorable story.
Standing at a random stall, faffing about with my camera, feel a bit of a tug on my jacket.
Look down to see this kid, a boy, must be about seven or eight.
Big eyes. Teeny voice.
“Hi Professor!”
Hugs my hip/leg because gosh damn he was short.
I sort of have time enough to give him an awkward ‘Well hello there!“ and a pat on the head before he freaking bolts back to his dad saying "I DID IT I SAID HI TO THE PROFESSOR.”

So yeah.
That happened.
I had a great time at the con and heavens, what a bunch of sweeties; very fun cosplays, and Canada is probably the only place I can think of where they could just have a table full of genuine swords and not be at all concerned about the repercussions (such as my bonkers friend Sebastian punching me with a gauntlet, thanks for that bro).
Also I had a very gentlemanly conversation with Bane; who knew that he would have such an appreciation of puzzles? Maybe he would get along with the Riddler better than I thought.
Guess who’s ready for the Con in tiiiiime?

My roomie is a blessed angel and helped me finish the hat last night but my god I actually ran around the whole of Downtown three times yesterday, why is everything always so down to the wire when it comes to cons?!
Also, yes, I painted my shoes green.
Deal with it.
So you know how I always say that when I grow up I want to be Professor Layton…

Well
you didn’t think I’d got to Con without dressing up did you?

IS
IS THIS TRUE?
ARE YOU SERIOUS?
IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO CAN VERIFY THIS INFORMATION BECAUSE I DON’T THINK MY HEART CAN TAKE THIS
