Anonymous asked: this might just be me, but id really appreciate it if you could make the text bigger in the duck doodle comics.
sorry, that bugs me too, but I’m actually using the same font size as in the official comics (in fact it’s slightly bigger!) the best way to read the pages is to open in a new tab so you can see it in the original 800 pixel wide size it’s meant to be, that or you can wait ‘til the whole thing is complete and then I’ll upload it all full size on my website (and then you can read the whole thing in one go which is. better anyway) :Tb
Anonymous asked: Okay, this has been bothering me for months - in Plane Sailing, after the movie ends and Magica needs to fix her makeup, Gladstone hands her a mascara wand from his jacket? Why did he have that? Was he holding onto it for her? Is it his???? I'm so confused and every explanation I can think of is unlikely and adorable. Thank you. I love your comics way too much.
it’s his mascara :>
Anonymous asked: how old you think Magica and Gladstone are?
uhhh I made a headcanon post a while ago damn I can’t remember but basically I’ve always seen Magica as being in her early 40′s and Gladstone/Donald being in their early/mid 30′s but duck ages are a mystery and Scrooge is like at least 200 years old and Grandma Duck is immortal so what the hey
kuraiennaej asked: If Gladstone wished to live for 1000 years or more, do you think his luck could actually prevent his natural death from happening by creating a new technology that would help him survive? Or also : if someone very dear to Glastone died, but Gladstone wanted this person back, could his luck make him discover/create a time machine so he could go back in time and save them?
see that’s a fun one to think about, if morbid, because I don’t think his luck makes him immortal at all- if it’s his time, it’s his time. His luck does what ‘is best for him’, and living forever would almost certainly not be the best thing, for anyone. As for the second question we already know the answer (if you consider the whole Della situation or my headcanon about his parents…), his luck is crazy powerful, but not all-powerful, and certainly not something he can boss around without it going badly for him; the times it backfires on him are often when he’s asked it to do something too big or morally questionable
Anonymous asked: Was that a tiny little Legend of Zelda reference you slipped in with the "heroes wear green" in the the latest page or am I reading into things?
It absolutely was, but to expand on that most of Hero’s biggest heroes wear green; Link, Luigi, Snufkin and Kermit (well okay so he doesn’t WEAR green but you get me).
I keep wanting to post WIP’s of this doodle comic so you don’t all think I’ve died but like everythiNG IS A SPOILER AND I’M MAD????
