I used to rest with my chin on my the back of my hands with them like this  with my elbows on the desk  so much that my friends used to call it the 'rabbit hands' pose  the reality was I constantly had pencil graphite all over the palms from drawing  which I why I didn't rest my chin on my hands the other way up!  but yeah I had rabbit hands for absolutely ages
