This is the story that The Secret Gardner is a loose sequel for. I’ve wanted to read it for a long time and was pleased to discover that it was actually published in many languages, including English and Arabic! If you can find it in your country, support the artists and publishers by buying it.

although I don’t know why it says I’m called George… I got called Fred for a number of years at school, it was my friend who was George (yes, we both had red hair, it was our maths teacher who started it), but as a consequence of the last book I ended up getting a lot of commiserations and a small but heartfelt burial ceremony it was very touching and George gave me a golden snitch with ‘R.I.P. Fred and my ear’ on the box it came in
