going to bed rn but just wanted to say thanks to you guys- I don’t know how this kickstarter is going to go, but whether or not I reach the target the fact that so many of you have asked for another book and are like, constantly wanting to support me and this crazy story that hijacked my brain five years ago is??? amazing? also I am so happy and lucky to live in a time and situation where I can make this stuff at all and get it to your eyeballs via the miracle of internet let alone a printed version so uh that’s… amazing as well. a lot of amazement here

Sorry friend I am a bit rushed on being able to make tutorials (and on the whole I save them for my Patreon)- but here’s some reference I’ve used and some step by steps? Finding good character model sheets online is a lifesaver and helps you understand how to ‘build’ the ducks in a way that feels tangible. For some poses everything sort of happens all at once, but with some more complicated ones I find I have to really break down the body into shapes and lay the details and cloth on top of it. Always try to keep the energy of the sketch though, and think about your line of action! As for beaks hell I don’t even know I’m still having trouble with them =__=

I am utterly embarrassed, appalled, ashamed, and every doom that comes down upon our colossally stupid country for this has been earned throughout history, and yet I still wish it wasn’t happening. The people who will suffer the most from it are undoubtedly the ones who deserve it the least, and I just hope we can pull together to survive and reverse it (although frankly if I was the EU there wouldn’t be any sympathy like what the actual fuck England)
