absolutely! there’s nothing I like better than making stories more accessible- same goes to any of you, if you want to translate these fan comics into any language, please do so! as long as you link to the original and credit me (and perhaps make mention that they are not official comics! although that should be obvious…) and as long as you’re like, Not gonna try to make a profit off them ‘cause that would cause a whole heap of Disney Copyright Issues yikes
ANYWAY basically I’m always very happy for these doodle comics, or indeed any of my stories, to reach new and different audiences- and if you do translate it and post it online please send me a link so I can reblog it, I like seeing what languages are happenin out there :D

manic panic! they do really nice dyes, and I do it myself but that’s just cause I’m used to doing it- and I can leave it on for as many hours as I like, this time I left it on for about 6 hours to be sure it stayed in and will last a good while!

oh no! oh friend I’m sorry- there isn’t right now. There’s a pdf of books 1 and 2 as part of the kickstarter reward but I never even thought of having a download option- the only thing I can suggest is going through page by page and saving the image files to your computer.

sorry for missing the ask- I’m looking into adding that as an option on Kickstarter but it’s all so new to me I’m a little bamboozled to be honest, I’ll talk it over with the Make That Thing folks asap. What I do know for sure is that the Volume 1 (and Volume 2 books that don’t go out as rewards) will be up for sale on their website when they’re available, and with a run of 600 for volume 1 you have a good chance of nabbing one before they’re gone!

it’s not! at least I don’t think so- this was never about making a ‘better’ design, it’s just… the design I’ve made? I call it an ‘alt’ design because it is just that, an alternative version, which I find easier to draw than the reboot version. It’s not something I think is better than or is any more valid than the official design! If you like mine, that’s awesome. If you prefer the DuckTales one, that’s awesome too! I just want people to get joy out of this gadabout goose and the enormous cast of characters he comes with

simple things! basic geometric shapes like squares and circles, draw two dots and try to draw a straight line between them, numbers and the upper case alphabet- anything you can think of that isn’t so complicated you get distract by the final concept; what you’re learning is motor control, not ‘how to draw’. You’re making new roadways in your brain, and that takes time! so just take it slow and steady- a little in the morning, a little in the evening, every day every day every day. I do things like that even now, with both hands! It makes for a good warm up.
