oh anon I’m sorry- it kind of feels like your heart gets a big dent in it when you see that sort of thing about a character you like, huh? but hey, you know there’s a whole heap of love for Gladstone out in the world, and that love comes from people who really understand him as a character and appreciate every aspect of him; people who hate are allowed to, that’s their opinion, but they almost always do so because they don’t see the entire picture, and sometimes refuse to even try and see it! so, if you think about it, that makes their hate even smaller and more insignificant than it already is compared to the genuine, big, whole hearted and happy love that is floating around here with me and you! so- sure, be sad, accept that sadness as an expression of how much you love the character, how much they matter to you- and let it pass.
What one person with a blog or a youtube account or a twitter has said is not what everyone else thinks or feels! it doesn’t dictate what is right to, or what you have to! the world can be a hard and joyless place sometimes, so take your joy where you find it- if it doesn’t hurt anyone else then keep it, share it and cherish it all you darn want! with a bit of luck, you’ll find other people who feel just the same way as you.

not at all! monsters of all kinds are welcome- I would just suggest something that doesn’t look too human, but just take a look in the market, you can go as wild and whacky as you like!

I figure Magica would fit a Mismagius, but I can see her with a Murkrow as well what with her little raven pal Ratface :’D Gladstone is harder, but a Togetic could work? What with that Super Luck hidden ability and being a fairy type… (it also has that little curly wing swirl going on in the design) or arguably Absol! I know it’s known as the disaster pokemon but that’s only because it warns people of things like landslides coming- and his good luck earns him a bad rep AND can cause hecking natural disasters!
that’s just my first thoughts on it though so feel free to add suggestions for them or other characters in comments/replies I love this kind of stuff ;D

Like if he shot in the general direction of the hole in golf, all the world has to do is get the right wind currents, etc. but if he shot like, backwards where there are no obstacles to put it back to the correct path there'll be an earthquake or something. It might be in everyone else's best interests that Gladstone at least tries a bit.
^^^ yes! yes yes, although it’s fun because this is where Gladstone’s luck gets ‘sentient’, because in some stories it’s as if it likes the challenge/trust of him allowing it to do all the legwork, but in some stories it’s as if it gets annoyed at being used too much, and then things go sour for him! it’s a really fun plot generator, lots of potential- much of the time the overall result is dependant on what deserves to happen to him/the others in the story

good for you anon! I didn’t intern at anywhere- just crashed into a storyboarding job (after 6 months of looking for work) so I can’t answer the question, sorry! best of luck! I’d advise you to take the opportunity and try anyway, if you want to- even if you don’t get in, they’ll make a note of you and if you try again in the future it’ll increase the odds!
