Well, basically, wow, gosh and blimey heck because your emotional response is pretty much exactly how I want you to be feeling about it! A lot about this comic is based off falsities and things being misleading, so you’re quite right to feel that way! But there really isn’t a wrong way to feel about it- if you’re falling hook line and sinker, perfect! If you’re suspicious about stuff, brilliant! If you feel utterly lost and you have no idea where any of this is going, that’s wonderful too!
At the current time I feel a bit guilty about not being able to update faster (and again sorry for having to miss this week’s update due to twitchy muscle illness WHOOP DE DAMN DOO), but on the whole I’m just happy that anyone out there is reading it and enjoying it and I’m having a lot a of fun making it too!

As a matter of fact, yes! “Don’t Jump off the Roof, Dad.” You can listen to it here which I highly recommend but the whole thing is a pretty damned good summary of the sort of comedy and sense of humour I’ve been brought up with- have a cop at the lyrics they’re marvelous.

Well, the point in my life in which I did care (and consequently tried to please everyone and ignore myself) led to me being severely depressed, but I suppose another factor is that I’ve had a few mad experiences that really put my mortality in perspective. Like, oh-so-that’s-what-they-meant-by-it-flashing-before-your-eyes perspective. Oh and I love reality and theories about it and basically all the evidence that we even are anything at all is absolutely impossible.
So… yes, when you keep in mind the fact that every next second is potentially your last and that it’s bloody marvelous that you even exist in the first place, you sort of start to give less of a damn about what the world thinks of something dumb and cute you drew at 3 in the morning because you wanted to.
