see this? this is basically what kid me saw Gladstone as wearing  and when you consider the early stories were written in the 60's  when fop fashion WAS this  I figure that's where he was at! the cane and all  anyway  insp  (basically yeah I still think he's wearing a frock coat y'all can fight me)  (those things are still gorgeous)
