Once upon a geekdom there was an ancient, roleplaying civilisation called XIrpg, which was basically short for “Xavier’s Institute for every-single-character-in-the-universe-and-then-some-is-a-mutant people let’s write some shit”.
Mod was a teacher at the school.
Sweet Jesus it was a beautiful disaster.
There were many crack threads and too many threads that were supposed to be crack which somehow made everybody cry but anyway, along the line Jack Spicer became Mod’s doting apprentice, and then everything went wrong because not-me-Sarah was horrible and made an Evil AU post and everything was terrible forever and ever.
Hence the freaking out. Oh and also there was a thing I did when I drew everyone as pokemon.

I just went on a reading binge of some of the old RP’s at XIrpg. Such good times ;w; but you know, it kind of made me realize that one of the best writers I know is serving as a full time sous chef in Manchester, and I haven’t told him that for a long time.
