Anonymous asked: HOW DO YOU RHYME SO WELL LIKE WHAT NO UNALLOWED STOP
I DON’T KNOW I’M SORRY I JUST KIND OF CAN
I GUESS I PLAYED WITH WORDS A LOT WHEN I WAS LITTLE AND I STILL READ LOTS OF ROALD DAHL AND ALICE IN WONDERLAND AND THAT SORT OF THING???
YEAH SO BASICALLY I THINK MY HEAD IS STUCK IN THAT MODE FOREVER but it’s fun sometimes because I can slip into in conversation and bug the hell out of people with it so hhahahahaha
They then proceed to discuss costume plumage until the cab arrives.
Last drawing before the good old traditional one-day Christmas hiatus! I couldn’t possibly not draw these two though, Izzy and Pixie being the biggest celebrities at the ball and all (p.s. if you aren’t already following tanglefootcomic you really need to fix that pronto).
I’m so sorry for my hash of a pencil sketch but I just adore these two *w*
If by ‘celebrities’ you mean ‘shabby, dissipated, louse-ridden interlopers’, then I’ll agree.
And oh man, I’m so glad I saw this, not least because it led me to rediscover your utterly amazing webcomic which I glimpsed ages ago, noted down as a ‘must read’, and then lost completely because I have a brain like a sieve and managed to forget its name (entering ‘dapper television-headed man and small child in green wellingtons journey through surreal, sinister dreamscapes to fight unknown menace’ into Google yielded nothing).
/casually passes out at this brick-to-the-head comment
also I must make it one of my aims for that google search to be successful some day
