So, initially this was supposed to be a sort of ‘why haven’t these three been drawn together before’ and a big thanks to all the followers on my Jervis and Mod askblogs (which it still is), but really, when it comes down to it, it’s also a thank you to Batman: the Animated Series.
Without TAS, there would be no Teen Titans, there would be no Brave and the Bold- what that show did for the world of cartoons is hard to put into words. They wrote every episode to be a movie; to be a real, true story that people could relate to. They made a world that was stunning, stylized and impossible, but believable; inhabited by well developed characters voiced by some of the biggest names of the era. It finally put television animation on the map as a serious art, and brought the myths and magic of the Batman comics to the screen in a new light.
So, yes; thanks TAS. You scared the shit out of me as a kid. I owe you.
- How I feel about this character
Hoo boy, what do I think about him? He’s utterly embarrassing, cruel, anarchic, a troll to the bitter end, and I adore him. I love how he’s always grinning and just revels in chaos and messing with people, but at the same time genuinely presents a significant threat. Anyone who can effectively break reality but chooses to do it with a sense of humour has my eternal respect (although I do die a little inside at the patriotism).

No-one. Ever. I just can’t.
- My non-romantic OTP for this character
BFF with Mumbo, totally. Also I must confess I do like the troll-uncle relationship he has with Robin and the Titans; like he has this educational vendetta against them but it’s all for their own good in his mind. Personally I think he’s trying to get them to have more fun and break the rules- nothing like a good dose of anarchic British Comedy to shake things up a bit. Of course, he might just be trying to rule the world, but that’s hardly worth bringing up.
- My unpopular opinion about this character
Oh hell, probably all of my head canon would make die-hard fans erupt into flames of ire but do you really think I care.
- One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Also a team-up with the Amazing Mumbo would have been glorious.

I got an ask about Mod getting frozen along with the Brotherhood of Evil, so I went ahead and checked the episode to see what legit happens, and lo and behold he does;
