Found this and thought of TPoH :D

Absolutely approved WELL THAT’S MY MUSIC POST FOR THE DAY.

TPoH music time!

Considering I let slip about RGB actually singing this at some point in the faraway future (hopefully far enough for you to forget before we get there dohoho), I figure it’s only reasonable to add this one to the mix.

TPoH music time!

I don’t think I even need to explain why this one works for me.

TpoH music time!

This track just has Dial written all over it man.

TPoH music time!

This film man, this film. Freaked the hell out of me as a child, and as I have yet to grow up in anything other than the vertical sense I can happily say it still does, in the very best of ways

Anyway, good music for roaming around big, lonely, desolate landscapes to.

HAHAHAHhahHAAHaha oh god it’s so perfectly appropriate though

sorry I’m not sorry for throwing this around it’s so good though

TPoH music time! A very short piece this time, but goodness yes, matches one particular part or the story (which we won’t reach for a few more decades) uncannily well. In my mind, anyway.

Some people have been asking for links to hear what Number 6 from The Prisoner sounds like and there’s a few audio clips over here.

I particularly recommend the ‘but I don’t run on clock work’ line and 'isn’t it different?/I will not make any deals with you’ clips to see what I mean with it being RGB-esque :D

Ooh, cool question, yay. Well, in a universe where everything is possible and time doesn’t exist, my first choice would be Patrick McGoohan. I know all of you are going ‘bwuh’ but if you’ve heard of the 1960’s tv show called ‘The Prisoner’ he played the main character, number six.

He just has that perfect clipped BBC accent that can sound absolutely insufferable but still dapper, also RGB is ever so slightly influenced by number six, so there’s that.

If I had to pick someone from the modern realm, I have a feeling that Colin Firth would do a fantastic job. For one he’s got the right maturity to his voice, and has great vivacity, but he can also do that wonderful blustering stammer, which would be perfect for RGB’s pomposity.

People keep asking me as to my own headcanon for RGB’s voice so I dug this out of the grave for you :’D

Also since then someone suggested John Cleese and gosh darn if he wouldn’t be an excellent candidate as well, so yeah a big push in that direction of outrageously-proper-but-somehow-intrinsically-hilarious voice quality.

I saw this and thought of you and TPoH. Seems incredibly appropriate.

I hope you enjoy it!

oh my goodness this man, I want to hug him

also interestingly there will be a character appearing in the comic who ‘sounds’ a bit like this! so, there you go!
