I only sort of know how Redbubble works, I technically enabled almost every product, so if you click on the departments on the side they will pop up.

I did a version with nipples, but idk how I feel about unicorn nipples so I left them off the Redbubble stuff.

I finished my beautiful lacy beast! It took me a few months, 11 yards of cotton sateen, forty yards of lace, and many hours of hand sewing, but it’s done!

This dress is based on this ensemble from the 1860s. The dress is made of cotton sateen with tulle, chantilly lace, alencon lace, embroidered lace, and beaded details. The vast majority of it was hand sewn.

The bodice is lined with cotton, lightly boned, and laces up the back. The skirt closes with hooks and weighs eight pounds thanks to all the embellishments. It has a twenty four inch waist and is worn over a steel boned corset, hoop skirt, hip roll, and petticoat. All of which were made by me!

It was a process, with lots of ups and downs but i’m really pleased with the end result. Construction notes and more photos can be found here

Belgian architect group, Gijs Van Vaerenbergh, built a church in Belgium, and it’s pretty plain from certain angles. From others, the structure reveals itself to be something else entirely: a building that’s almost entirely see through.

The project, named “Reading Between the Lines,” is a composition of 100 layers of stacked steel, that are equidistantly staggered in a way that illusively change in appearance based on where the viewer is standing.

Legit had a dream last night that Thomas the tank engine fell off the railway to the afterlife into purgatory and spent centuries trying to escape a ghost train sweatshop, only to end up back in the real world as a lost and confused human, distraught that his chance at a peaceful train death had been ripped from him.

I don’t know what I did last night to cause this but I need to never do it again.

#WHY THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE?#Why was he on the tracks to train Valhalla what had killed this beast of the ages?#Why did escaping the sweatshop lead him back to the real world instead of letting him move on?#Why did train purgatory resemble a foggy Scottish moor?#Why did the real world he showed up in resemble feudal Japan???

I’ve only just remembered upon retelling this dream to my friend and had to rush here before I forgot it again. I explicitly remember human Thomas’ last words upon looking morosely out upon feudal Japan were very close to “I did not waste so many of my years to end up back on this miserable planet.”

Like, if this dream had featured humans or frankly ANYTHING other that a sentient train it would have been totally serious. There was not a single funny moment in this dream WHY WAS IT THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE?!

Cats Don’t Dance (1997)

An allegory for racial discrimination and lack of representation in media, Cats Don’t Dance is an underrated cartoon musical made by Warner Brothers. The story is about a young, poor, naive cat named Danny who moves to Hollywood to fulfill his dream of becoming a star, only to realize that animals aren’t given the same treatment as humans are, and his idol Darla Dimple isn’t what she seems. Filled with innocent humour, supreme colouring, and stunning musical numbers, Cats Don’t Dance unfortunately premiered at the same time as Hercules, forever making it an underappreciated movie.

Unfortunately, this is the fullscreen version. The widescreen version is out of print and hard to find.

My dad got half his jokes and witty lines from this movie
