I really actually might? it’s horrible because it’s driving me insane to draw as little as I am rn but would that be okay? i mean, maybe that’s dumb to ask, but the page for TPoH after this one is like, really complicated and I only managed this one bc I drew a lot before I dinged up my leg… I may have to take a week’s full hiatus for health and it bites but would that? be acceptable I mean you guys are basically my boss okayy

aw friendo I’m sorry- I booked myself a week’s holiday to let my brain and hands have a proper rest (I haven’t had a holiday in… a year?) it was very odd for me to not work on it! actually took some effort :’D so yeah, sorry no TPoH today, but it will be back to one-a-week posts from next Sunday!

Sure! Gladstone is canonically claimed to be the ‘champion ukulele player of Duckburg’ in one of Carl Barks’ comics, Good Canoes and Bad Canoes-

as for the continuity of my comics, I guess I try to write them so they can either be stand alone or linked to one another- the canon comics sort of have the rule that everything gets set back to a certain default. Even if the ducks have gradually evolved and had character development, there are never any huge shifts; Donald never marries Daisy, Gyro never dies from blowing himself up, and none of them age! Imagine how weird it would be if they did? So yeah, I go from the same perspective- namely, Gladstone and Magica will always be the characters they are recognized to be at the beginning (and in some way the end) of the doodle comics I write; whether or not the previous doodle comics ‘have happened’ to them is up to you as the reader!
