Everything I draw ends up wearing a bow-tie

Because I feel like a stinker for pulling the plug on M.O.D. so HERE HAVE SOME STUFF.

Might as well fill in the gaps for the new folks- yes, and no. I’ve studied animation for four years; three at Newport in Wales and one at Vancouver Film School. I’m currently employed as a storyboard artist for an animation studio in Vancouver which is wonderful, but I hope to be hired as an animator in the future and make my own films in the long run. Mind you, even if I get hired as an animator, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to call myself one; it takes a lifetime to become anything close to that.

This is the film I made while I was at VFS. I did another one called Dinosaurs in Flash which is up on my vimeo if you like this one :)

The pitch today didn’t go as badly as I thought, it wasn’t so much a pitch as a ‘we all watch your shitty first animatic and nod and go hmm and stuff’.

Oh wow nostalgia kick.

My film had ‘out of his world’ as the working title for ages even though I hated it. I think I came up with 'Skip’ in the second to last week.
