Anonymous asked: okay so I am like a bazillion years behind everyone else because Australia but I just finished playing PL vs AA and I feel like I have the same thing you did with AA5 in terms of loving the game but really not digging the ending :/ no chance you'd be willing to do one of your life-saving alternate ending comics?

usually I would add this to the ‘I don’t do requests sorry bro’ pile but the hilarious thing is I really did consider doing one for the same reason- it felt like kind of a bum note after all the magic time hijinks, y’know? anyway, sadly I lost my buzz to do one because it was right about that time I got the first case of super bad tendonitis last year but maybe I will replay it one day and have a shot at it… when my hands are less shitty. and I have less to do.

yeah.

I absolutely LOVE the way you did the “You get the flames” bit.
My friend and I had another great idea! Would you mind possibly saying “Looks like I was…WRIGHT all along” after a non-guilty verdict?

Because of the release of PL vs. PW and because I can’t get enough of Phoenix getting pwned, can we have Professor Layton pwning Phoenix this time? Like, him saying something like “Truly one of the greatest puzzles in the world is how you managed to get a law degree and there’s not enough hint coins in the world to solve that.” Bonus points if Phoenix replies with something really immature like “Your face is a hint coin.”

Anonymous asked: hey so I know I'm going to play professor layton vs phoenix wright at some point but I haven't actually played all the way through any professor layton games and was wondering if there were any you would recommend playing before PLvsPW?

ALL OF THEM actually nah lemme answer this properly because lots of people have asked me the same question on both sides; whether you’ve played all the AA games and none of the PL games or visa versa, I would recommend playing at least the first game in the series of the set that you haven’t. Honestly if you like PL you’re going to love AA, and likewise AA junkies will find no trouble getting addicted to puzzle solving professors and their beautifully animated cutscenes- there’s a reason a crossover happened, and I have to say the two game styles compliment each other enormously in the new adventure.

It isn’t necessary to play any of the (insert unplayed game series here) beforehand by any stretch, so by all means plunge right into the crossover if you want to, but I just feel the experience will be improved so much by developing a love and understanding of the characters before you start playing. The jokes (and injokes) will be much funnier, and the drama will have you jumping up and down on the bed rather than going ‘oh well I guess that is sort of shocking but I don’t feel as emotionally invested in it as I could have done if I knew this character better’.

At the end of the day it’s your choice, but if you want to get the most out of it I would exercise restraint for a little while longer and get to know the new world and cast that you’re going to be walking about and interacting with!

Anonymous asked: out of curiosity did they change Luke's voice in the UK version of PLvsAA? only they gave him a new voice for the US version :'I

! no we had the same old lovable Luke voice so far as I remember, actually overall the voice acting was really nice through the whole game

oh yeah US and Canada get PL vs AA today don’t they :D

I don’t know if she’ll get a different voice for the American release but regardless I adored this character I mean come on just look at her

the only downside was how little limelight she got would definitely have to appear in the theoretical sequel no question :|b
