Sequel PL vs PW where Layton gets framed for a murder (which Maya got accused of first because she always does), but he gets bored from the lack of puzzles in jail and breaks out to solve the crime with Pheonix and then comedic manhunt hijinks ensue and it’s stupid and shut up I can dream

on a side note I absolutely did not have the time to do these.

I got bored so New Society6 Prints! We’re slowly getting closer to having this website done and the first few pages of The Princess and the Jester up with it, but if you can’t wait until then why not be the ultimate hipster and get some stuff for a thing that isn’t even a thing yet.

I tried to draw evil Layton but all I got was regular Professor Layton trying to pretend to be evil and failing because he’s too goddamn nice

also bonus getting Don Paolo to help doodle (and sleeping-at-desk doodle because I’ve been there myself Professor)

two very hurried and not very eloquent examples of how I do my lineart for the several people who’ve requested it (I use Photoshop and the basic hard round brush, nothing fancy), I’m not brilliant at it by any means and this isn’t a tutorial it’s just what I do :“D

warm up sketches from this morning- I always make sure to do a quick succession of doodles before starting on the main work I’m going to do for the day. Even just a bunch of lines and circles to break yourself in works, the important bit is not being particularly concerned about the quality or content and just drawing to get your head and your hand into gear. It makes the serious work much easier to get into smoothly; I think it’s a really helpful thing to do so I can only recommend trying it!
