I wanted to draw them as sex swapped because no matter how I look at them Arthur and Mesi (or Audrey and Meier) would still dress and act exactly the same.
Gender doesn’t particularly matter to either of them that much.

both would be Gryffindors but very different kinds of Gryffindors, also in the HP world Mesi would probably end up being a professional Quidditch player and Arthur would make a pretty great Care of Magical Creatures teacher or headmaster I’m just saying

but everyone and their mum draws their OC’s as angels an I wanna play too (Mesi is a glam-rock lammergeier and Arthur is a navy admiral albatross but I fricked up every aspect of this so I will try again when I am not asleEP)
some people have been wanting a guide to drawing Arthur and Mesi so these are some general notes (although they ended up being more about movement and form rather than anything… helpful… oops)
I guess it’s kind of a breakdown of how their action matches their personality and design more than anything else but hey it was a good change of gear for me \o/
Alright so basically I’ve been meaning to draw TPoH and SKIP fanart for the longest time but I haven’t had time to, but since I was ill today I managed to free up some time, so yeah!
It’s still amazing thinking about how when I read the first page of TPOH god knows how many years ago I thought to myself “Wow this looks like it’s gonna be a really happy adventure!” OHHH BOY, was I in for a surprise.
Anyways, Mod, if you see this - I can’t wait to see you again at expo! It’s gonna be awesome. And also, thank you for all of the amazement and awesomeness your art has brought me and so many others.
