sorry for lull in posts/chirpiness in general there’s a lot going on behind the scenes here (but there is movement on the RGB enamel pin business so that’s cool- still no idea when it’ll be done but we’re doing our best!). Anyway, doodle comic is WIP but I’ve got the gist of it very loosely sketched and I’m gonna have a crack at doing it in this blob/scribble technique I’ve been noodling about with lately. Wish me luck!
I wanna dedicate this to three people. First to @midnight-shriek who has been the absolute best friend and person who has supported me so much on the pursue of my dream of learning how to draw ducks! Still learning! Second, to @modmad who is such a major inspiration, whose art never fails to leave me in such awe and joy that is indescribable, their talent and skill are impeccable, and they have made me love magicstone so much!!! And third to @natssketches who appears to me as such an incredible person who I’d love to meet someday, whose art is breathtaking and keeps me inspired and who also makes me love magicstone even more than usual!
I don’t take requests on the whole BUT I did want to throw down a concept sketch for part of a future story- everyone agrees that it’s cute when the ducks wag their tails when they’re happy, right? right.

np buddy, generally it’s because I think they have such great potential but you can definitely blame A Gal for Gladstone for kicking me (and a number of other comic readers I’m certain) into the Magicstone pit- also if you can’t be bothered reading that I summarise it here. they appear together in a couple of other stories and man, I just love the energy you get from the collision two morally neutral, magically inclined, societally ostracised and emotionally complex characters that are on opposite sides of both the luck scale and the dime debate. They have a great deal in common, but also have great diversity from each other, and they make for excellent comedy! There’s endless opportunities for balance, humour, romance, adventure, and chaos! What’s not to love?
