Animator Eduardo Quintana animated the illustrations shown in The Animator’s Survival Kit by Richard Williams! Here, Richard asksanimation legend Milt Kahl about animating to music!
Here are the images of the original exchange (in case you are unfamiliar):
The acting, pacing, and looseness are superb, and a real joy to watch! May it inspire you to push your animation skills!
/SCREECHES/ it’s here! :D :D :D oh boy oh boy I am going to watch this as soon as I get back from going to town also wow it’s like two hours I’m so hype
EDIT: just finished watching it and it was greaaat please watch it too! it’s such a nice ride and is rly funny and cute in places gosh
a selection of some of my favourite glitch posts from my dash tonight, I was screenshotting them to show my girlfriend over skype because she wondered why I was laughing so much
modmad asked: Hello! Just wanted to say I love your art it is adorable and wonderful and gosh what a lovely style I could look at it all day <3 anyway yes, sorry, just thought you ought to know and THANK YOU FOR DRAWING!
Me: Hmmm, what should I carve for my jack o’lantern this year? I like to be topical with my interests-
Bill: I THINK I KNOW A GUY!
Me: …. Perfect.
So basically y’all can blame (or thank) Modmad for this one, as Gravity Falls had always been on my To-Watch list, but her Sock Opera alternate ending and Night of the Hunter mashups bumped it up to Immediate Priority. Sooo now I’m obsessed with it. Enjoy my potentially possessed pumpkin. I didn’t bother wiping off the sharpie from when I sketched him out to carve because it makes him a bit more obvious in the daytime. Hopefully he’ll survive til Halloween, but if not, hey! Bill 2.0 will get carved later in the month, haha.
I AM TOTALLY OKAY WITH BEING PARTIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS
