Was this intentional like the Gladstone influence or are my interests bleeding into your comic?
I don’t think I had a specific Doctor in mind but there certainly is a WHO influence in RGB! other inspirations include Bert from Mary Poppins, Mary Poppins herself, Number 6 from The Prisoner, and Anubis, to name but a few!
