update on the hand/arm situation!
BACK FROM THE JOINT SPECIALIST! So, I always knew I was double jointed, but it turns out I am super hyper mobile! In ALL of my joints! Wowza!
Oh boy, doesn’t that sound great?! Sadly it’s not- it means I am much more vulnerable when it comes to muscle fatigue, strains and sprains. Dang. However if I do toning exercises carefully and constantly, keep up my health and generally treat myself gently I should manage alright, and measuring out the work between my right and left hands will help me avoid repeating the repetitive strain that I have atm. It’s a chronic case, so I’ll have it my whole life, and pain is going to be a part of the norm from now on, but at least I know what’s wrong with me now so I can take steps to deal with it.
Anyway, the Doc said I was the floppiest out of all the floppy people she’s met and she even has hyper mobile joints herself, so… in short this is me;
