see that’s a fun one to think about, if morbid, because I don’t think his luck makes him immortal at all- if it’s his time, it’s his time. His luck does what ‘is best for him’, and living forever would almost certainly not be the best thing, for anyone. As for the second question we already know the answer (if you consider the whole Della situation or my headcanon about his parents…), his luck is crazy powerful, but not all-powerful, and certainly not something he can boss around without it going badly for him; the times it backfires on him are often when he’s asked it to do something too big or morally questionable

oh shoot I missed those huh, just tried it in photoshop with the previous sketches and I think the beige looks best-
so yeah these are the final colours for this alt design! It’s been really fun honing it down to what feels right :D (also the lines/shirt would normally be black I just,like sketching in a colour…)

it’s one of my major pet peeves with the new show’s design for him- in the comics there is a very distinct difference between his beak and all the other ducks, but in the new cartoon there is no difference and that along with giving him the same eye size hurts my soul a little bit… they are small differences but it adds such a big dimension to the distinction between the ducks and him :’I anyway I tried to make mine more smooth and pointy instead of the angled end the others have but it’s not particularly easy when Donald’s new beak is already so long and sharp edged :’D
