This isn’t technically a Layton site, but hey, it’s got a certain connection to AA, wouldn’t you agree?
Tonight, Level-5 announced the latest main Layton game: Lady Layton: The Millionaire Queen Ariadne’s Plot! (Note that there could be some ambiguity over Ariadne’s gender due to the kanji used, but let’s assume they’re a woman given the name.)
The game focuses on Layton’s daughter, Catoleil Layton (romanization to be confirmed) and sees a return to the adventure-and-puzzle style of the original series.
The game will be released in Japan in spring of next year, available not only on 3DS but also iOS and Android devices. A localization is yet to be announced, but Level-5 trademarked “Lady Layton” in Europe recently.

Here’s my final for my character design class (2016)! I managed to crank this out in under 2 weeks and I’m pretty happy with it. I was really trying to push shapes and design more in this project and I looked at Okami and Ni No Kuni for reference.
In this thrilling non existent RPG, you play as Grandma Mao (G-Mao) who goes on her first adventure at 87 years old!
A lot my friends are graduating and many are worried about not having a job right out of college. Our animation club (PMC) has brought it in A TON of amazing speakers from all over the industry. They’re all really inspiring and each story is different. I always feel inspired by the ones who got started much later in their life but managed to break in with a lot of hard work. They show that it’s never too late to do what you love (though it might be harder) and I really wanted to capture that with G-Mao.
So what’re you waiting for? GET OUT THERE!

Indivisible has 30 days left and hasn’t even reached even a fourth of it’s goal in the eleven days it’s been up. For those of you who aren’t aware, Lab Zero has invested their time and personal money into this game with the bet that the Indiegogo campaign goes through. If this game doesn’t get funded, it would mean bankruptcy for the Lab Zero crew and they would all have to part ways. There’s a playable demo that was made available on the website for the game which you can try here. Even if you aren’t able to support the campaign, spread the news and let people know about the game. This is one hell of a project and the publisher has only agreed to match the donations under the conditions that the goal is even met. So, try the prototype, check out the artwork and the love the team put into it and try to spread the word and/or donate.
friendly reminder that those guys who where making that My Little Pony fighting game that Hasbro shut down is still working on a fighting game of a similar theme. i gotta say i’m in full support for a fighting game where you play as cute feminine creatures, even if it’s not mlp. plus look at their cow character she is great. get your kickstarter accounts ready folks.
