New comic, guys! : ) I particularly dig the drawings style in this one! I also like how there’s no plot twist involving money, fame or some trouble Fethry got himself into before, he just want to spend quality time with Don and thats all! And Donald has as bad temper as always, its amusing how Fethry just accept that Don’s like that, unlike almost any other character. This one is so slice of life-ish that remember me a sit com!

Absolutely, and provably so! Even if he’s willing to be an absolute stinker in order to get the part, he’s genuinely considered a good actor in No Business Like Show Business, and here in Calling All Stars!
If you want to take it to the next level though, the European comics often show that he plays up his arrogance and laziness to prevent people from approaching him to exploit his luck, (for example here in the Secret Gardener), and that his public ‘face’ is actually something of an act itself.
honestly, i’m pretty dissatisfied with some of the turns this story takes, but it is a thorough look into a particularly messed-up gladstone’s psyche. watch him rage against god and physically manifest his own bitterness!
OH. ALSO. the german idiom for an unlucky person is “bad luck bird”? and every time it’s applied to donald is just. oddly adorable. like damn he sure is.
